Both of the batteries have a small discreet button on the side that you push, the battery then puts the power through the atomizer - the button type battery puts more power through the atomizer - giving more vapour and a greater throat "hit".
The kit also comes with the following:

- 10 x refills - tobacco flavour, 3 high, 3 medium 3 low and 1 zero nictone
