What Is a Vape Starter Kit?
Before you can choose the best vape kit for your needs, you must understand how full vape starter kits differ from plain vaping devices. The definition of a full vape kit is that it includes everything you need to get started with vaping in one box. A bare vaping device usually only comes with the device and the charging cable. Are you planning to go on a vacation in the near future? If you are, it’s highly likely that you’ll want to bring your vape gear along. It’s really no different from traveling with a pack of cigarettes if you were a smoker – except that electronic cigarettes and vape juice differ from tobacco cigarettes in some very important ways where traveling by air is concerned. A vaping device has a battery, and vape juice is a liquid product – and airlines have special rules about traveling with both of those items. So, can you take a vape on a plane in 2021? What are some of the specific rules and regulations that cover traveling with your vape gear? This guide from Simply ELiquid will tell you everything you need to know about bringing e-cigarettes on airplanes.
Can I Take My Vape on the Plane?
There are no vaping laws in the United Kingdom that prohibit flying with an ecig. In almost all cases, you can bring your vape device, vape tanks and e-liquid on an airplane without worrying as long as you obey the rules and regulations that deal with packing liquids and batteries. There are only two possible exceptions:
- The airline has regulations on vaping that prohibit bringing vape gear on flights. It’s always wise to confirm that your chosen airline allows e-cigarettes on airplanes before you travel.
- Vaping is banned in the country to which you’re traveling. If there is a vape ban in your destination country, you risk potentially having your vape gear confiscated upon arrival when your baggage goes through customs.
You’re responsible for knowing all applicable rules when you travel with your vape. Make sure that you confirm all rules and regulations before traveling.

What Are the Different Parts of a Vape Kit?
A standard vape starter kit consists of four basic components.

How Long Will Your Vape Last
So, one of the questions that we get asked frequently looks a little like this.
“How long will my vape last?”
In all fairness, it’s a reasonable question. For a lot of people, knowing how long their devices will last is vital for making sure that they budget correctly or simply have the right parts ordered at the right time. We actively attempt to give people the information they need on this topic, but it’s not as simple as that.
On average, your device will last you a couple of weeks. But the different parts that make up your device, that’s a different story.
How Long Do Vape Coils Last?
Let’s take a look at all of the components that make up a vape device, starting with the coil. Now, the coil is a core part of your device, but because it comes in a selection of different variants, we’ll need to generalise to give you an answer.
On average, a well-designed coil that sees moderate use will last you 4-7 days. If you don’t smoke so much during the day because of your employment, that lifespan will be a little longer. If you smoke all the time, then understandably it will be a little bit shorter. There’s no real time limit on these - they have a finite lifespan which is tied to how much you use the device.
