The Nexay Crush 10K takes a slightly different approach to the ever-growing big puff vape category. Instead of concentrating purely on fitting more e-liquid into an increasingly large device, Nexay has focused on what happens when you actually take a puff.
Its headline feature is the TWINX system, which combines two mesh coils with separate airflow channels. You can keep things relatively restrained in Normal mode or switch to Turbo when you want noticeably stronger flavour and vapour production.
Throw in a clear e-liquid tank, an 800mAh rechargeable battery, a useful battery display and 15 flavours, and the Crush feels more sophisticated than its very simple setup might suggest. It should be especially appealing to former disposable users who want the same grab-and-go convenience but find some prefilled replacements a little underwhelming.

The Nexay Crush is a rechargeable prefilled pod vape designed as an alternative to the single-use disposables that are no longer legal to sell in the UK. The device itself is reused, while the prefilled pod system is replaced when the e-liquid is finished.
Each refill combines a 2ml pod with an 8ml e-liquid container, giving you 10ml of e-liquid in total. Everything is prefilled with 20mg/ml nicotine salt, so there are no bottles to carry, coils to change or settings to configure before you can start vaping.
Installation is basically a case of preparing the pod, pressing its two sections together and inserting it into the device. Once the wick has had a few minutes to saturate, the Crush is puff activated — inhale and it fires automatically.
That simplicity places it firmly in the same category as other disposable vape alternatives. The difference is that Nexay has given the actual vaping hardware considerably more attention than usual.
Plenty of big puff vapes compete by putting a larger number on the box. Nexay has gone in a more interesting direction.
The Crush uses two 1.1-ohm mesh coils with separate airflow channels. Nexay calls the arrangement TWINX, and it allows the device to offer two distinctly different power modes rather than delivering essentially the same puff every time.
Normal mode is the better everyday setting if you prefer a smoother, more relaxed vape. It also makes sense when conserving battery power and e-liquid is more important than producing the biggest possible puff.
Turbo mode turns things up considerably, taking advantage of the dual-coil system for denser vapour and a more concentrated flavour. If standard prefilled vapes sometimes feel a little too mild, this is the setting that makes the Crush interesting.
Switching modes only requires a press of the button beneath the display, so the extra performance doesn't come with the usual downside of extra complexity. There are no wattage menus to learn and no combination of button presses to memorise.
Our take: Turbo mode is the Nexay Crush's party trick, but Normal mode is arguably just as important. Having both means the device doesn't force every puff to be enormous simply because the hardware is capable of it.
The dual-coil system gives the Crush an obvious point of difference if flavour intensity is your priority. Turbo mode provides a much fuller experience than you'd normally expect from such a straightforward prefilled pod device.
Despite having two performance modes, the Crush remains extremely easy to operate. It's puff activated, and the single button is only needed when you want to switch between Normal and Turbo.
The transparent pod is a small feature that makes a surprisingly big difference. Instead of guessing how much e-liquid remains, you can actually look. That's a much nicer system than discovering an empty pod via an unexpected burnt puff.
The screen shows the remaining battery charge as well as the active vaping mode. That's more useful than a simple flashing light, particularly with a device powerful enough to consume noticeably more energy in its higher-output setting.
The Nexay Crush contains an 800mAh rechargeable battery, which is a healthy capacity for a compact prefilled vape. Battery life will naturally depend on how often you vape and which mode you use — Turbo asks more from the battery than Normal mode — but the capacity is large enough that many users should comfortably get through a normal day before needing to plug in.
USB-C charging keeps things simple, and the battery meter removes most of the guesswork about when it's time to recharge. The Crush also supports vaping while charging, which is handy if you manage to run the battery down at an inconvenient moment.
As with most devices in this category, we'd still recommend charging it from an ordinary USB source rather than reaching automatically for the highest-powered fast charger in the house.

Nexay advertises up to 10,000 puffs from each pod and refill combination. As always, it's worth treating a puff count as an estimate rather than an odometer. A long Turbo-mode inhale obviously uses more e-liquid than a short puff in Normal mode, so two people can get very different totals from exactly the same refill.
The more useful figure for comparison is the e-liquid capacity. Each Nexay Crush refill pod contains 10ml in total, split between a 2ml pod and an 8ml refill container.
If you typically use around 2ml of e-liquid per day, that works out to roughly five days of vaping. Lighter users may stretch one considerably further, while frequent Turbo-mode use will naturally get through the e-liquid faster.
There are currently 15 flavours in the range, which is a good selection without becoming needlessly overwhelming. The line-up leans heavily towards the fruit, berry, lemonade and ice profiles that disposable users will already know well, but there are a few alternatives for people who want something different.
Current choices include Blue Razz GB, Blue Razz Lemonade, Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Blueberry Cherry Cranberry, Cherry Ice Spark, Double Apple, Juicy Peach, Lemon Lime Spark, Menthol, Mr. Blue, Pineapple Ice, Pink Lemonade, Strawberry Raspberry, Triple Mango and Watermelon Ice.
Once the original pod is finished, there's no need to buy another complete kit. Just choose a new flavour from the Nexay Crush replacement pod range, slot it into the same device and carry on vaping.
The Crush isn't trying to win the capacity arms race. There are devices in the current big puff market with substantially more than 10ml of e-liquid, and those are likely to make more sense if the longest possible interval between refills is your main priority.
What the Crush offers instead is a more performance-focused experience in a relatively compact format. The twin-coil setup and selectable vaping modes give it a little more personality than the typical inhale-and-forget prefilled vape.
It's also a good example of why advertised puff counts shouldn't be the only figure you compare. A device claiming 25,000 or 30,000 puffs isn't automatically the better choice if you prefer the draw, size, flavours or vapour production of something smaller.

There's no separate fire button to hold while vaping. If you're moving across from disposables, the actual inhaling experience should therefore feel immediately familiar.
We think the Crush makes the most sense for established adult vapers who like the convenience and concentrated flavour of prefilled devices but want something with a bit more performance behind it.
It's particularly worth considering if:
It makes less sense if you want to use your own e-liquid, prefer lower nicotine strengths or want full control over things like airflow and wattage. In those cases, a conventional refillable pod kit will give you more freedom.
Yes — especially if you've tried other disposable alternatives and thought they were convenient but a little dull.
The Nexay Crush doesn't reinvent the basic idea of a prefilled big puff vape. You still get an inexpensive rechargeable device, a large supply of prefilled e-liquid and a system that requires virtually no maintenance. The clever bit is that Nexay has found room to add something genuinely useful without making the device complicated.
Normal mode handles everyday vaping, while Turbo gives you the option of a substantially more powerful puff when you want it. The transparent pod and proper battery indicator are sensible touches as well.
The 10ml capacity isn't class-leading, and using Turbo constantly rather defeats the purpose if you're trying to make each refill last as long as possible. Those are reasonable compromises, though. The Crush is less about winning on raw capacity and more about making the vaping experience itself better.
For anyone who puts flavour and vapour production near the top of the list, it's one of the more interesting disposable alternatives we've seen.

No. The device contains a rechargeable battery and is designed to be reused. When the prefilled e-liquid system is empty, you replace the pod rather than throwing away the entire vape.
Nexay advertises up to 10,000 puffs per refill. Actual puff count will vary depending on the length of your draws and how frequently you use Turbo mode, so the 10ml e-liquid capacity is often a more useful indication of how long it will last.
Turbo mode is the higher-powered setting designed to deliver denser vapour and stronger flavour from the Crush's dual-coil system. Press the button beneath the display to switch between Turbo and the smoother Normal mode.
Nexay Crush pods contain 20mg/ml nicotine salt e-liquid. There isn't currently a lower-strength option in the range.
No. The Nexay Crush uses proprietary prefilled pod and refill assemblies. When one is empty, replace it with a new Nexay Crush pod rather than opening it and adding bottled e-liquid.
Each replacement contains 10ml in total, consisting of a 2ml pod combined with an 8ml refill container.
Yes. The device has an 800mAh rechargeable battery and charges through USB-C. Its display shows the remaining battery level so you can see when it's getting close to needing a charge.
You can order Nexay Crush 10K replacement pods from Simply ELiquid. The range currently includes 15 flavours, and each replacement gives you a fresh pod, fresh coils and another 10ml of prefilled e-liquid.
