Geekvape Z Series Replacement Coils are high-performance mesh coils designed for powerful direct-to-lung vaping. Also known as Geekvape Mesh Z coils, they use a large mesh heating surface to produce dense vapour and clear, consistent flavour at higher wattages.
Available in four resistance options, the Z Series gives you plenty of choice depending on whether you prefer a cooler, slightly less powerful vape or a warmer and more intense DTL experience. Each pack contains five genuine Geekvape replacement coils.

Geekvape's Z Series is designed for sub-ohm tanks and higher-powered DTL vaping. All four options use mesh heating elements, but the resistance and recommended wattage make a noticeable difference to vapour warmth, airflow and e-liquid consumption.
The best option largely comes down to how powerful you like your vape. Lower-resistance Z coils generally suit higher wattages and a warmer, more intense inhale, while the 0.25Ω and 0.4Ω options operate at lower power and can offer a slightly more relaxed DTL experience.
| Coil | Resistance | Recommended Wattage | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Z0.15 | 0.15Ω | 80-90W | Warm, powerful DTL vaping and large vapour production |
| Z0.2 | 0.2Ω | 70-80W | High-powered DTL vaping with a good balance of flavour and vapour |
| Z0.25 Dual Mesh | 0.25Ω | 45-57W | Lower-wattage DTL vaping with dual-mesh construction |
| Z0.4 | 0.4Ω | 50-60W | A cooler DTL vape with lower power requirements |
The 0.15Ω Z coil has the highest recommended wattage of the four options at 80-90W. Choose it if you enjoy a particularly warm vape with plenty of airflow and substantial cloud production.
Rated for 70-80W, the 0.2Ω version still delivers a powerful DTL experience but doesn't require quite as much wattage as the 0.15Ω coil. It's a good middle ground for users who want strong flavour and vapour without running at 80W or above.
The 0.25Ω version uses a dual-mesh design and operates at 45-57W. It suits vapers who want the broad heating surface of a mesh coil while keeping their power level and e-liquid consumption a little more moderate.
With a recommended range of 50-60W, the 0.4Ω coil provides a cooler and somewhat less aggressive vape than the lowest-resistance options. It's a useful choice if you prefer DTL vaping without pushing your mod towards very high wattages.
Geekvape Z Series coils are designed for sub-ohm vaping and work best with thicker vape juices. A 70% VG e-liquid is a good starting point for all four coil options, particularly when vaping towards the middle or upper end of the recommended wattage range.
Because these coils produce considerably more vapour per puff than a small MTL kit, they are normally paired with lower nicotine strengths. Many DTL users choose 3mg e-liquid or nicotine-free shortfills, although the right strength ultimately depends on your requirements.
Make sure the tank is sufficiently empty, remove it from your vape kit if necessary and access the coil from the base. Pull the used push-fit coil firmly out of the tank.
Push the replacement Z coil fully into position, checking that it sits securely and evenly before reassembling the tank.
Refill the tank with your chosen e-liquid and give the new coil several minutes to absorb the liquid thoroughly before taking your first puff.
Begin near the bottom of the coil's recommended power range and increase the wattage gradually until you reach the warmth and vapour production you prefer.
There isn't a fixed replacement interval because coil life depends heavily on how often you vape, your wattage and the e-liquid you use. Very sweet e-liquids can leave deposits on the mesh and wick more quickly, while consistently vaping at very high power can also shorten coil life.
Common signs that it's time for a new coil include weaker flavour, reduced vapour production, darker e-liquid around the coil or a burnt taste that doesn't disappear after refilling.
These coils are intended for vapers who enjoy an open, direct-to-lung draw and want considerably more vapour than a typical pod system produces. They're particularly well suited to high-VG shortfills and lower-nicotine e-liquids.

Yes. You'll often see these replacement coils referred to as Geekvape Z Series coils, Mesh Z coils or Zeus coils. The important thing is to check the resistance and compatibility required by your tank before ordering.
Each pack contains five replacement coils of your selected resistance.
The 0.15Ω Z coil has the highest recommended power range at 80-90W, making it the strongest choice of the four for users seeking a warm, high-powered vape with substantial vapour production.
The 0.25Ω dual-mesh coil has the lowest recommended range at 45-57W. The 0.4Ω version is also relatively moderate at 50-60W.
These are high-powered sub-ohm coils, so they are generally better suited to low-strength, high-VG e-liquids than to the higher-strength nic salts commonly used in small MTL pod kits.
A burnt taste can occur if the wick hasn't had enough time to absorb e-liquid, the tank runs too low on liquid or the coil is used above its recommended wattage. If a coil remains burnt after refilling and allowing it to soak, it will usually need replacing.
