5 x Smok Nord Replacement Coils

Grab a pack of SMOK Nord replacement coils for your SMOK vape. Available in packs of five, these coils are engineered for top-quality flavour and superior heat resistance.

Compatible with:

The 0.6ohm Mesh coils are made for sub ohm vaping and have a larger surface area for faster e-liquid heating for improved flavour and vape production, due to the mesh technology.

The 0.8ohm Mesh coils work similar to the 0.6ohm resistance, but with the slightly higher resistance these will produce less vapour and deliver more flavour.

The 1.4ohm Regular coils have been created for mouth to lung vaping and offer a more restricted inhale and less cloud.

The 1.4ohm Ceramic coils feature a longer lifespan then the normal standard coils and produce better flavour from your e-liquid due to the ceramic build of the coil.

SMOK Nord Coil Guide

Choosing the Right SMOK Nord Replacement Coil

The original SMOK Nord coil platform remains useful because it offers several coil styles for different types of vaping. Depending on the resistance you choose, you can set up a compatible Nord device for a tighter MTL draw or a warmer, airier vape with greater vapour production.

These replacement coils are supplied in packs of five and are designed for devices and pods that specifically use the SMOK Nord coil series. They're not interchangeable with newer SMOK coil families such as RPM, RPM 2 or RPM 3, so it's important to check your pod type before ordering.

Which SMOK Nord Coil Should You Choose?

The different Nord coil options change the airflow, vapour production and overall feel of your vape. If you've used one resistance before and liked it, replacing it with the same type is the simplest option. Alternatively, a compatible Nord device gives you some room to experiment.

0.6Ω Mesh

Warmer & Airier

The 0.6-ohm mesh coil has a large heating surface and heats e-liquid quickly. It produces the most vapour of the standard options on this page and is a good choice if you prefer a warmer, more open RDL-style vape.

0.8Ω Mesh

Balanced Flavour & Vapour

The 0.8-ohm mesh option provides a slightly gentler vape than the 0.6-ohm version while retaining the quick heating and broad surface area of a mesh coil. It's a useful middle ground if you want strong flavour without as much vapour.

1.4Ω Regular

Traditional MTL

The 1.4-ohm regular coil is intended for lower-powered mouth-to-lung vaping. It provides a more restricted inhale and modest vapour production, making it particularly well suited to users who prefer a traditional MTL experience.

1.4Ω Ceramic

Smooth, Flavour-Focused Vape

The 1.4-ohm ceramic version provides another lower-powered MTL option. Its ceramic construction is designed to deliver consistent heating and a long usable life while keeping vapour production relatively restrained.

Which Devices Use SMOK Nord Coils?

Several generations of SMOK hardware have carried the Nord name, but they don't all use the same coils. The products below are compatible options currently listed by Simply ELiquid.

SMOK Nord

The original Nord was designed around this coil family and is the simplest compatibility match. It supports both the lower-resistance mesh options and higher-resistance MTL coils.

SMOK Nord 2

The Nord 2 works with standard Nord coils when you use its Nord pod. The kit can also use an RPM pod, but RPM coils and Nord coils are separate families and shouldn't be mixed.

SMOK RPM40

The RPM40 can use Nord coils when fitted with its RPM Nord pod. Its standard RPM pod uses SMOK RPM coils instead, so check which pod is installed before buying replacements.

Check the pod as well as the device name. Some SMOK kits support more than one coil family by using different pods. A Nord coil will only fit a pod specifically designed for the Nord coil platform.

SMOK Nord Coil Compatibility at a Glance

Device Compatible? What You Need to Know
SMOK Nord Yes Designed for the standard Nord coil platform.
SMOK Nord 2 Yes Use the Nord 2 Nord pod. The separate RPM pod takes RPM coils instead.
SMOK RPM40 Yes Use the RPM Nord pod. The standard RPM40 RPM pod uses RPM coils.
SMOK Nord 4 No Uses RPM and RPM 2 coils rather than standard Nord coils.
SMOK Nord C No Uses the RPM 2 coil platform.
SMOK Nord GT No Uses RPM 3 coils.

What E-Liquid Should You Use with SMOK Nord Coils?

Your choice of e-liquid should reflect the resistance and power level of the coil you're using rather than the Nord name alone.

Higher-Resistance Nord Coils

The 1.4-ohm options are designed for lower-powered MTL vaping and work particularly well with thinner 50/50 vape juice. They're also a natural match for nic salts, especially if you prefer a smaller amount of vapour and a tighter draw.

Lower-Resistance Nord Coils

The 0.6- and 0.8-ohm mesh coils produce more vapour and generally suit lower nicotine strengths. A balanced 50/50 liquid remains a dependable choice, particularly in compact Nord pods where reliable wicking is important.

How to Replace a SMOK Nord Coil

Nord coils use a simple push-fit design, so changing one only takes a moment.

  • Remove the pod from your vape device.
  • Turn the pod upside down and pull the old coil straight out of the base.
  • Push the new Nord coil firmly into the opening, making sure that it's fully seated.
  • Fill the pod with e-liquid if necessary.
  • Leave the filled pod for around five minutes before vaping so the wick has time to absorb the e-liquid.
Starting with a properly saturated wick is one of the easiest ways to avoid burning a new coil prematurely.

When Should You Change a Nord Coil?

There's no fixed replacement schedule because coil life depends heavily on how often you vape and the type of e-liquid you use. Very sweet liquids, for example, can leave residue on the heating surface more quickly.

Instead of replacing a coil according to the calendar, pay attention to how it tastes. A noticeable loss of flavour, reduced vapour production or a burnt or overly caramelised taste usually means that it's time for a fresh coil.

Keeping the pod topped up and allowing a new coil to saturate fully before its first use can help you get the longest practical life from each replacement.

SMOK Nord Replacement Coil FAQs

Do these coils fit the original SMOK Nord?

Yes. The original SMOK Nord was designed around the standard Nord coil platform and can use the compatible resistances offered on this page.

Do SMOK Nord coils fit the Nord 2?

Yes, provided you're using the Nord 2 with its Nord pod. The Nord 2 can also use an RPM pod, which requires RPM coils instead.

Can I use Nord coils in the SMOK RPM40?

Yes, but only with the RPM40's dedicated RPM Nord pod. The standard RPM pod supplied with the device takes RPM coils.

Do Nord coils fit the Nord 4, Nord C or Nord GT?

No. Despite sharing the Nord name, those later devices use different SMOK coil platforms. The Nord 4 uses RPM and RPM 2 coils, the Nord C uses RPM 2 coils and the Nord GT uses RPM 3 coils.

Which Nord coil is best for MTL vaping?

The 1.4-ohm Nord coils are the most traditional MTL options in this range. They operate at lower power and provide a more restricted inhale with less vapour than the lower-resistance mesh versions.

Which Nord coil produces the most vapour?

Of the options listed here, the 0.6-ohm mesh coil is the most suitable for a warmer and airier vape with greater vapour production. The 0.8-ohm mesh version provides a slightly more restrained alternative.

How many coils are included?

Each pack contains five genuine SMOK Nord replacement coils in your selected resistance.
