How to Use the Aspire BP Stik
Charging
To charge the Aspire BP Stik, connect it to your computer or a 5-volt, 1-amp mains adapter with the included USB-C charging cable. When you connect the cable, the indicator light flashes green three times. Charging the BP Stik takes about 2.5 hours. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator light flashes green 20 times.
Filling
To fill the Aspire BP Stik, pull the pod up to remove it from the device. Open the filling port on the underside of the pod and add e-liquid until the pod is nearly full. If you’re filling the pod for the first time or have just installed a new coil, wait several minutes before you begin vaping. This helps to ensure that the coil is fully saturated with e-liquid.
Vaping
To use the BP Stik, you can either puff on the mouthpiece or puff whilst holding the fire button. Use gentle air pressure only. If you hear a gurgling sound, reduce the air pressure to ensure that the pod won’t leak.
Changing the Power
The Aspire BP Stik offers low, medium and high power levels. The LED colours are red for low, blue for medium and green for high. To switch between the three levels, click the fire button three times.
Adjusting the Airflow
If you want to change the airflow on the BP Stik, rotate the pod for a tighter or looser draw.
Replacing the Coil
When the Aspire BP Stik begins to produce a burnt flavour, it’s time to replace the coil. When the pod is empty, remove it from the device and invert it. Pull the old coil out of the pod and push in the new one. Refill the pod and wait a few minutes for the e-liquid to absorb into the coil before you resume vaping.
Troubleshooting Problems with the Aspire BP Stik
The Aspire BP Stik has an indicator light that flashes in various colours and patterns to let you know when the device has a problem. Here’s what the error codes mean.
- Flashes red and blue 10 times: You’ve exceeded the device’s six-second puff timer. Reduce your puff length.
- Flashes red and blue 3 times: The BP Stik has detected a short circuit. Remove the pod and clean any leaked e-liquid. Replace the coil if the issue persists.
- Flashes red 15 times: The battery is dead. Recharge the device.
- Flashes green 20 times: This indicates that the BP Stik is done recharging.
- Illuminates yellow for 3 seconds: The BP Stik has overheated. Move the device to a cooler location and wait for it to cool down.
