The SMOK TFV18 Mini Tank is a powerful 2ml sub-ohm vape tank built for direct-to-lung vaping, big vapour production and bold flavour. It combines high-wattage V18 Mini mesh coils with adjustable bottom-to-top airflow, a secure sliding top-fill system and a standard 510 connection for use with compatible vape mods.
Despite the Mini name, this is very much a high-performance tank. The wide-bore resin drip tip and generous airflow are designed for an open DTL inhale, while the mesh coil system provides a large heating surface for fast ramp-up and consistent vapour production.
The TFV18 Mini comes with two coils to get you started: a 0.33Ω V18 Mini Meshed Coil and a 0.15Ω V18 Mini Dual Meshed Coil. When it's time for replacements, you can stock up on SMOK TFV18 Mini Coils. Looking for a complete setup instead? Browse our range of SMOK Vape Kits.

The TFV18 Mini takes many of the ideas behind SMOK's larger high-powered tanks and puts them into a more compact format. You still get substantial airflow, mesh coils designed for DTL vaping and a wide-bore mouthpiece, but the UK version has a TPD-compliant 2ml e-liquid capacity.
It's particularly well suited to vapers who want plenty of warmth and vapour and already have a sufficiently powerful regulated mod. The standard 510 connection also means you aren't tied to one particular SMOK device.
Air enters through the adjustable slots at the base of the tank and travels upwards through the coil. Opening or closing the airflow lets you fine-tune the resistance of the draw and balance vapour production against flavour and warmth.
Press the locking button and slide the top cap aside to expose the filling port. You can refill the tank without removing it from your mod, while the locking mechanism helps prevent the cap from opening accidentally.
The TFV18 Mini uses large mesh heating elements designed to heat e-liquid across a broad surface area. The result is rapid vapour production and the warm, flavour-forward performance expected from a modern sub-ohm tank.
A standard 510 thread allows the tank to work with a wide range of regulated vape mods. Just make sure your chosen device can comfortably support the resistance and wattage required by the V18 Mini coil you're using.
The TFV18 Mini uses the dedicated SMOK V18 Mini coil series. These should not be confused with coils for the full-size TFV18 tank. Three V18 Mini resistances are available, giving you a useful choice between maximum-power DTL vaping and a somewhat lower-wattage setup.
| Coil | Resistance | Wattage | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| V18 Mini Dual Meshed | 0.15Ω | 80-110W | Warm, high-powered DTL vaping with dense vapour |
| V18 Mini Meshed | 0.2Ω | 40-80W | Lower-power DTL vaping and reduced battery demand |
| V18 Mini Meshed | 0.33Ω | 80-140W | Very powerful DTL vaping with strong flavour and cloud production |
The tank includes the 0.33Ω Meshed and 0.15Ω Dual Meshed options. Replacement SMOK TFV18 Mini coils are available separately in packs of three.
The TFV18 Mini is a high-powered sub-ohm tank, so thicker e-liquid is generally the best match. A 70% VG vape juice is a good starting point and suits the large wicking ports and substantial vapour production of the V18 Mini coils.
Because the tank produces a large amount of vapour with each puff, low nicotine strengths are normally more appropriate than the stronger liquids used in small MTL pod kits. Many DTL vapers choose 3mg e-liquid or nicotine-free shortfills.
Keep the tank upright and press the release button on the top cap.
Move the top section aside to expose the filling port beneath it.
Insert the bottle nozzle into the filling port and fill the 2ml reservoir, taking care not to put e-liquid into the central airflow chimney.
Slide the cap back into position until the locking mechanism is fully engaged before using the tank.
The TFV18 Mini is best suited to experienced DTL vapers who enjoy a loose draw, high wattages and substantial vapour production. It makes particular sense if you already own a capable dual-battery or other high-output mod and want a traditional replaceable-coil tank rather than a pod system.

For vapers who prefer a tight MTL draw, low wattages or higher-strength nicotine e-liquids, the TFV18 Mini is unlikely to be the best fit. This tank is very much designed around sub-ohm DTL performance.
It uses SMOK V18 Mini coils, available in 0.15Ω Dual Meshed, 0.2Ω Meshed and 0.33Ω Meshed versions. These are dedicated TFV18 Mini coils rather than the coils used by the full-size TFV18 tank.
Yes. The tank includes one 0.33Ω V18 Mini Meshed coil and one 0.15Ω V18 Mini Dual Meshed coil.
The UK version has a 2ml e-liquid capacity.
It's a direct-to-lung tank. The large airflow openings, wide-bore mouthpiece and low-resistance mesh coils are all designed for an open inhale and high vapour production.
Yes. The tank uses a standard 510 connection, so it can work with many regulated mods from other manufacturers. The important thing is to ensure that the mod can safely deliver the wattage required by your chosen V18 Mini coil.
The tank is designed primarily for high-VG sub-ohm e-liquids. A thicker 70% VG liquid is generally a better match for its large mesh coils and high operating wattages.
Typical signs include weaker flavour, reduced vapour production or a persistent burnt taste. Coil life varies according to wattage, e-liquid sweetness and how frequently you vape.
