How Do You Fill an Oxva Pod?
The exact filling method depends on the style of pod you use. Always check that the filling port is securely closed before returning the pod to your device.
Most Oxva Pods
- Locate the silicone plug and open it carefully with your fingernail.
- Add e-liquid through the filling port until the pod is nearly full.
- Close the silicone plug securely before using the pod.
Some pod styles must be removed from the device before you can access the filling port.

- Gently wiggle the mouthpiece until it comes away from the pod.
- Add e-liquid through the filling port until the pod is nearly full.
- Replace the mouthpiece securely before vaping.
Filling a new pod: Wait several minutes before vaping for the first time. This gives the e-liquid time to absorb fully into the coil. Vaping too soon can burn the cotton wick and cause the pod to fail prematurely.
How Long Do Oxva Pods Last?
You can generally expect an Oxva pod to last through at least a week of full-time vaping. The exact lifespan depends on your vaping habits, power setting and choice of e-liquid.
Operating your device at a higher wattage or using heavily sweetened e-liquid can cause the coil to degrade more quickly.
When Should I Replace My Oxva Pod?
Replace your Oxva pod when you’re no longer happy with its flavour quality. A pod approaching the end of its life may produce dull, altered or burnt-tasting vapour.
Changing the pod promptly will provide a better flavour experience and help prevent persistent burnt hits.
What Does an Oxva “No Pod” Error Mean?
If your Oxva vape displays a “No Pod” message when you try to use it, the device is not detecting a proper electrical connection with the pod. Follow these steps to troubleshoot the problem.
Remove the pod and dry any condensed e-liquid from the bottom of the pod and the inside of the device.
Check that the contact points on the pod and device are clean. You can clean them with a cotton bud moistened very slightly with rubbing alcohol.
Allow the contacts to dry completely, reinstall the pod and try using the device again.
Replace the pod if the error persists, as the pod’s internal coil or connection may have failed.
What Does It Mean if an Oxva Pod Leaks from the Bottom?
If you remove the pod and find a small amount of condensation underneath it, that’s completely normal. Simply remove the liquid with a cotton bud or paper towel.
A severe leak can waste e-liquid and potentially damage your device. Try the following steps if a pod is leaking heavily.
Use gentle air pressure. If you hear a gurgling sound when vaping, you may be puffing too firmly. Excessive air pressure can draw too much e-liquid into the coil assembly and cause flooding.
Don’t overfill the pod. Always leave a little empty space at the top. If the pod is completely full, closing the stopper can force e-liquid into the coil assembly.
Close the filling port securely. Check that the silicone plug or mouthpiece is fully seated after every refill.
What Does It Mean if an Oxva Pod Tastes Burnt?
A burnt taste usually means that the coil’s cotton wick is dry, damaged or covered with e-liquid residue. Check these common causes.
You Didn’t Wait After Filling
A new pod needs several minutes for the e-liquid to absorb fully into the cotton. Vaping immediately after filling can burn the dry wick.
The Pod Is Empty
Keep an eye on the e-liquid level and refill the pod before it becomes completely empty. Using the coil without enough e-liquid can cause a dry or burnt hit.
The Wattage Is Too High
Higher power levels may not be suitable for long puffs. Lower the wattage and check that your setting falls within the recommended range for the pod.
The Pod Is Worn Out
Over time, e-liquid residue and repeated heat cycles cause the coil to degrade. When the flavour no longer tastes right, replace the pod with a new one.
